The Decline of Quality Grind in Modern Games
Grind in gaming over the past few years has seemed to only get worse. AAA games releasing lately are following a trend that is fueled by the fear of missing out instead of rewarding players who want to play the game at any given time. Modern game designers care less about replayability and fun, they only seem to care about pushing players to play their game whenever possible (or just spend money).
