9Here is a vid of the first ten minutes of the Snes RPG Lufia & the Fortress of Doom.
I only recently acquired this one, so it's not one that holds any nostalgic value for me. I did rent it's sequel back in the day, and would love to show vids of that one, but I have it not. I got this one, oddly enough I bought it used a a K-Mart a few years ago. That's right, K-Mart used to sell used games. Don;t ask me why, but I don't regret pouncing on this one even though I wanted the sequel more.
This game starts out as if you're playing the end of a previous RPG. Instead of telling you about how four warriors defeated the evil Sinistrals, the game actually allows you to play it instead. In fact, I won't even get to the actual main character in this game in this vid.
This one, from what I've played of it seems to be a decent RPG. I've read mixed user reviews on it, but it's got some good things going for it from what I've played of it so far.
It's certainly not my number one Snes RPG pick, but it's still worth a look if you're into the charm of 16-bit RPGs.
