Sometimes things that feel right... aren't

Oftentimes we are so drawn to the familiar that we mistake it for the best. We have all sorts of associations with things. We draw comfort from people, places and circumstance that have, in fact, long outlived their usefulness.

We humans don't like to change. This isn't all bad. Stability is nice. We like knowing our home, our mate, our job is going to be there tomorrow.
But we humans also want to grow.

This creative tension between the drive to be safe and the drive to be free is at the soul of the dynamism of every individual life.
