The GOLDEN Age of Disney... EXPLAINED (Retrospective)
YEN #132 - In today's episode of Your Everyday Nerd, we'll be diving deep into the world of Disney. Starting from the very beginning, the Golden Age of Disney is oftentimes remembered as the best of the best. This first part of a long-running retrospective hopes to capture the history of Disney's Animated Film Department, while also figuring out which films in the Disney catalog are still worth watching today. The Golden Age of Disney spans from 1937 to 1942 and includes these classic films:
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
- Pinocchio
- Fantasia
- Dumbo
- Bambi
Along with these classics, we'll also be discussing the partly animated film, The Reluctant Dragon, as well as briefly looking at the live-action 2019 Dumbo. It's a big episode, but I hope you'll see the magic of the golden age just as much as I do.
