Stern was one of the people who seriously considered former football player Orenthal "OJ" Simpson guilty of murdering his wife and a friend in the early 1990's and was just disgusted how the media and court circus that was the Trial of the Century had been handled, from the prank call a Stern fan placed to ABC during the Bronco chase to the Not Guity verdict live on CNN. When OJ was on trial again for attempted armed robbery in Las Vegas in 2008 (claiming he was retrieving his stolen property), Stern and crew just couldn't wait to slay him and hear the karmic forces from years ago come back to claim OJ. OJ attempted to get a retrial due to the incompetence of his lawyers in 2013, but was denied. He then had another chance in 2017 by way of getting parole and has been free since... for now.
