TL;DR - I hate the HRG Vampire because it tries to be both the HRG Incision and the HRG Healthrower while failing at it terribly.

This is a recording from KF2's Christmas 2020 update preview 1 and it's not looking good for the HRG Vampire.

I find the concept of the HRG Vampire needs you to be playing a balancing act of holding down the primary fire, letting go of the primary fire, and using the alt fire. However I strongly believe that the execution of the weapon is heavily flawed and needs much more work.

Here's a detailed explanation of why I hate this weapon currently.

1. The primary fire has a short range. The first, and the most used feature of the weapon is it's primary fire where you suck up the blood of the zeds to hold a ball of blood and to build up charges but in the process of sucking up the blood you need to be close enough for the zeds to hit you and with it's non-existent knockback, low damage, and can only suck one zed at a time, you're going to get hit often. Compared to the HRG Healthrower that has good knockback, splash radius that can effect more than one zeds, while healing others (but not yourself)
Bonus note: The range of "THE SUCK" is shorter than the husk's flamethrower. (31:40)

2. The ball of blood is underwhelming. The secondary feature of this weapon is creating and holding the blood that was sucked up from the zeds where letting go of the primary fire launches the ball of blood that damages zeds while healing players. This becomes unsatisfying to use the moment you realize that a fully charged ball of blood has a tiny splash radius and properties of the grenade pistol. Shooting it at a clump of 5+ zeds with a fully charged ball of blood will only hit 3 or 4 of the zeds. This becomes worse when there's a line of zeds and the only one effected by a fully charged ball of blood is the first one and not any of the zeds behinds it (17:43).
Bonus note: You can not heal yourself with the ball of blood.

3. The Alt-fire is a bad sniper. The main feature of this weapon is the alt-fire where you shoot a shot of "crystalized zed blood" that deals high damage. It takes about 10 "ammo" for it to give you 25 charges, enough to use the alt-fire once. The weapon can hold up to a maximum of 4 shots and it can be shot out very quickly allowing you to burst down big zeds. However, since it only shoots a single crystal you need to be accurate with your shots while also taking in the bullet travel in consideration while also keeping in mind that this can't penetrate through zeds. When I realized that the best part of the weapon is just a inferior version of the HRG Incision I lost all interest in this weapon

I feel like there's multiple ways of fixing this weapon to be good and satisfying to use but currently I feel like there's too many things to change and fine tune before the actual update comes out.
