I've been in love with The Last of Us since it was released in 2013. The opening scene cut through me as few things have before in my life, mostly because of the raw grit of the world and the intense nature of society failing in a mushroomy apocalypse, but also due to the nature of Joel's loss and the overwhelming power that is the paternal instinct. I've played the first a dozen times over, and literally finished another playthrough with my gorgeous wife just moments before recording this footage (I'll be adding the playthrough of the first game eventually.) I'm so excited and scared to see what happens...
