This is from the Collector's Disk that they were giving away with the purchase of a Gamecube system a few years back. it's the disk with Zelda 1, 2, OOT, and Majora's Mask, and not the one with Master Quest on it.

This is far from my favorite Zelda. Link to the Past is the hands down best Zelda of all time in my opinion, and I was a little disappointed with OOT when it hit. I've got my reasons, but I won't list them here. I find OOT to be one of the most overrated games of all time. Not that it wasn't good, just a disappointment to me.

It's grown on me more over they years due to me playing through it a number of times, but I never felt the need to own it until I bought this disk from a friend for $10. I know people love this game, but for me it has some really annoying issues, and it didn't retain the Zelda feel to me.

I find that most people who like OOT the best or have it as their favorite game of all time were the kids in the N64 days that had never played a Zelda game before OOT (I find the same thing with Final Fantasy VII which is close to being just as overrated IMO).

NOTE: This isn't an expert run through the game. It's been a while since I last played OOT, so I'm a little rusty.
