It's time for the final dungeon in the game... Sky Keep. This is basically like Ganon's Tower from previous Zelda games. Each room is themed after each temple or dungeon from throughout the game, throwing basically all the challenges the game has put us through thus far in one dungeon, including past mini bosses! And to make things more complicated, we have to work our way through a sliding puzzle to get to each room, eventually leading us to each of the Triforce pieces. We'll have to make use of everything we learned and every item in our arsenal to get through this!
Though, I've always found it odd since when I first played this game that there isn't an actual boss to fight at the end. You'd think the Goddess would've thought to leave something behind to guard the Triforce should anyone prematurely discover Sky Keep? And since during my first playthrough, I didn't have all the heart medals and pieces yet, I was looking for a 7th heart container.. I was thinking maybe if there isn't a boss, maybe The Imprisoned drops one after he gets killed during the cutscene? But nope. It just felt so out of place to me after playing all the other Zelda games that I don't even get a health upgrade for my troubles. When I learned that you needed two medals just to have all 20 max hearts, I was disappointed because truthfully it is pretty ridiculous. I would've rather fight two more bosses for two more heart containers instead, or at least throw in 8 more heart pieces into the over-world or through side quests. Oh well.
