The Lord of the Rings // The Riders of Rohan [Synthwave Cover]
I got to watch all three extended edition Lord of the Rings movies at my local theater about a month ago and ever since I have had many LOTR covers in mind. Decided to start with The Riders of Rohan because I just couldn't get that main theme out of my head and I thought it would make a great synthwave cover.
As I was finishing up the mixing, I heard the news that Bernard Hill, the actor who played Théoden, passed away. So this video is in memory of the great king of Rohan. All hail the victorious dead!
"Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!"
