Today I look at what may have been the very first Japanese Kaiju Movie to ever have been made. The Great Buddha Arrival (1934) directed by Yoshiro Edamasa. I'll also be covering its sequel/reboot made in 2018 by 3Y Film, the same company that would go on to make Nezura 1964 (2020) and the upcoming Kaija Picture Hoshi 35 (2023).
