0Welcome to yet another Piranha Bytes game, that has to have yet another problem with its engine , hell ton of bugs , day one patch to 1.1 and ... the AAA fell of yet another unfinished game ... Elex was a game that was long in development... first know as Evolution ... that wanted to be tech combined with the "Rule of Three"... three fractions , 3 main quest , 3 main ways to tap that ass ... 3 times the system requirements to run this ... 3x the bugs ... Hey do you remember when GOthic 2 was so bugged they had to have this BIG ASS patch masked as DLC called the night of the raven ... oh oh i know a better one , do you know how they later blamed this on Joowood unrealistic miles stones ... oh oh and the one about ...Gothic 3 bugs ,soooooo big ...you had to have a 1,5 gig fan made patch to fix the mess
And what about when they jumped publishers to Deep Silver for RISEN ... a clean slate , with a new publisher ....build on a strong script that Rhianna Pratchett co-written ... oh right, they ruined this by adding production values aka over sexed themes in the next parts, that ruined the whole series ...
To be blunt , controls in Elex are ass (when you battle with one bug to find the next hot spot to climb or not to clip though the wall), combat so over complex and non-intuitive (how could you fuck that up ,all games from them where copy/paste Gothic combat...but no , you had to place a stamina bar ...wtf is this dark souls or some shit) etc...
Even the PR did not knew how to promote this mess , by putting trailers making this look like a XYZ Fallout 4 fan made mod ...
from my side better luck next time ... if there will be next time ... or YET AGAIN a GOLD version claiming to fix the game ... like Witcher Enchated editions ahahahahahahaha
