The Most Unsafe Abandoned Mine I Have Ever Explored
433Welcome to the most crumbly, slab-filled, death-trap abandoned mine that I have ever explored. 'Bad ground' is a severe understatement. Nearly every branch in this mine leads to a catastrophic collapse. Thankfully, we made it in and out unscathed, but it was not a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. This mine reportedly contained eight miles of underground workings and 10+ levels. Unsurprisingly, the deeper portions of the mine were barricaded by air-tight collapses.
Gold was the primary commodity mined here. I don't have good luck with gold mines - maybe I should stop visiting them...
