The New Russia’s Su-75 Checkmate Shocked the World
866Meet the New Russia’s SU-75 Checkmate which was unveiled at MAKS 2021 air show in presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The fighter jet was unveiled by Russia and United Aerospace Company, an umbrella corporation that includes the famed Mikoyan-Gurevich and Sukhoi design bureaus. The jet is expected to take to the skies in 2023, with the first batch due to be produced in 2026. Once serial manufacturing begins, Moscow aims to build 300 units of the aircraft over a 15-year period. According to Reuters, Rostec's director Sergei Chemezov said the plane would cost $25 million to $30 million and that demand would come from the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
