The origin of T-spins with Tetris 2 + BomBliss for Famicom
Kind of like third Superman (or second Spider-man) films, there have been multiple games named Tetris 2. This version, developed by Chunsoft and published by Bullet-Proof Software -- which went on to shepherd much of the subsequent Tetris franchise -- is the second game to bear the moniker since 1990.
Of particular interest to us is the BPS rotation system (short for Bullet-Proof Software), progenitor to the SRS system that makes T-spins possible. We embark on a journey to find out what tricks are possible in this version compared to subsequent entries.
