I love puzzle games, but I don't love Puzznic. If you're familiar with modern "match three" games then the dynamics of Puzznic will confound you, because you can't swap tiles -- you can only move them left, right, or down into an empty slot. Worse yet the puzzle mode features uneven numbers of tiles, so you can keep matching them and still have one left over, forcing you to retry until you give up because the solution isn't obvious. What's worse is the "freestyle" mode though, which fills the board up so fast with tiles you couldn't possibly make matches even if you COULD swap adjacent tiles. What am I missing here? I feel like I should like this game but I just DON'T. Maybe it's only the PC Engine version that's bad? I hope that's not the case.
