This is a look at The Pinball Circus from Midway. This game was made back in 1993. Midway had the idea to make a larger pinball machine and this game has FOUR playfields, the main level, Pinbo the Elephant, The Mechanical Giraffe and finally the clown who constantly taunts you throughout the game. This is one of two prototype machines that were made from Midway. While the game preformed well on public location tests the major distributor from Germany, NOVA said they would not pay 1000 dollars extra for the machine so Midway scrapped the project.
One thing to note, a few years ago one of the toys on the machine broke. Suspended over the main playfield was the Lovely Lolita who would spin on a rope while the game was being played. Sadly when the game was being cleaned a child picked up the toy and ended up dropping and breaking it.
