Hello and welcome to my task for 2023 and the biggest collecting challenge I have ever faced:

The Playstation Platinum Project.

My personal challenge to try and complete the complete Playstation set of 160 Platinum games by the end of 2023.

And there is just one rule, there is no rules!

To achieve this I will be travelling around the U.K. to car-boots, charity shops, CEX and local game stores, whilst highlighting some of the best local game stores the U.K. has to offer!

But that’s not all as I will look anywhere for these games as well as buying from online stores such as eBay, but to achieve this collecting goal I’m going to need your help!

This is where you come in, if you have unwanted or unloved PS1 platinum games I NEED them! I will either trade you or pay you for your unwanted games in my quest to catch them all!

Also reach out if you have a local game store near you which you think I need to check out, especially if it has platinum games as I’ll be in the road a lot more this year!

Welcome to episode three at the end of the last episode we ended on a huge milestone, we have 100 games left to find, and in this episode we will be looking ANYWHERE to find these last 100 games!

Firstly this time we will be searching at a local retro and modern toy fair at the 23rd Annual Norwich Modern and Retro Toy Fair.

In this series I really wanted to shine a light on some of the best retro gaming shops the UK has to offer and this time we head to North Walsham to check out a hidden gem store, Disk n' Dat.

Also we have a trade with a fellow viewer for two ICONIC games I needed for the Platinum Project as well as 2 eBay buys including perhaps the MOST iconic racing game, not just of the PS1 but maybe of all time, which I replay for the first time in around 20 years, lets hope I still have the skills to win!

Finally this time I travelled to the town of Kings Lynn to hit up one of my favorite retro game stores in the UK, the Retro Retreat and trust me they have one of the biggest selections of PS1 games I've ever seen in any game-store! Check out the store here:

Whilst in Kings Lynn I also visited perhaps my favorite CEX I've even been to, so lets hope I can find some great platinum games here!
