Today, we cover the Primarch of the Death Guard, Mortarion in the second of 18 videos about the sons of the Emperor.

Raised on the Feral World of Barbarus, Mortarion is a shrewd and grim Primarch. Known for his incredible resilience to all forms of toxins, plagues and otherwise, he leads his army with a resolve unlike any other legion. Constantly pushing forward and expanding the borders of the Great Crusade.

During the Horus Heresy, he is instrumental in the execution of Salamanders, Iron Hands, and Raven Guard legions during the Istvaan 5 Drop site Massacre. Even trailing the mighty Jhagatai Khan throughout the Galaxy to try and bring him into the fold with Horus.

The Primarch eventually falls to the will of something far greater than himself…
