Doctor Who - Reality War Season Two Finale
This actually doesn’t feel real. This was so so quick to jump to regeneration. I’m not too mad on who he regenerated into which is kind of weird but it’s whatever. I still kind of don’t believe it I still think we’re in a reality messed up world and part of it might be not wanting to let go of Ncuti but it feels way too quick
Ncuti was a special doctor because as I will always love this show with every fiber of my being there was a time right before him and the return of Tennant where it was good but i never was as hype for the show as I was with Tennant Smith or Capaldi for a while. The show with Chibnal taking over as showrunner was kind of absent of the who charm imo. But Russel t Davies and Ncuti brought it back with the restart, the season one with their partnership with Disney plus and it’s like I was a kid again Ncutis doctor is and maybe was so great in everything, he was such an emotional doctor something that I love the Doctor to show when he does cause most others never relied on that they hid away their emotions and never was too shy to cry at the gravity of the situations or loss of people. He was purely just a special Doctor that reinvigorated my love for the show in a new kind of way and it actually genuinely breaks my heart that this might be the end for him. It is one of the shortest runs for a Doctor and tbh as he started to regenerate I started to bawl my eyes out.
IF this is the actual end of Ncuti it is something I probably won’t get over for a little while he was an instant favorite and I loved him with my whole heart. And if it is the actual end on one hand it is exciting to see the possible reunion of Billie and Tennant on the screen soon.
As I write the rest of this I am fully in the mindset of Ncuti still being the doctor, as Billie wasn’t introduced “as the doctor” she was simply just introduced. The YouTube page which is usually quick to change the outro video to the respective doctor at the time has been blanked out by the doctor who logo. And not even to mention the fact that the ending was them “changing the timeline back” so gravity is back instead of mavity and that had whole new ramifications for what that could’ve and what that could change. Ncuti is still the doctor imo, and the “Reality War” is not over.
