The Siege of Karaz Karak Total War: Warhammer 3

This was a siege from my past where I thought the actual siege was terrible. The capital looked pathetic, so when this mod map came out, I had to redo the siege. Enjoy!

Back Story
In the deep recesses of the World's Edge Mountains, where the ancient halls of the Dwarfs lay carved into the stone, a rumble echoed through the tunnels of Kazar Karak. It was a sound that struck fear into the stout hearts of the Dwarfs, for they knew all too well what it heralded – the coming of the Skaven.
For centuries, the Skaven had plotted and schemed, their vast underground empire stretching beneath the realms of the surface dwellers. Now, led by the cunning Warlord Gnashclaw, they descended upon Kazar Karak with a horde of ratmen, their numbers seemingly endless.
The Dwarfs, proud defenders of their ancestral home, rallied to the call to arms. Under the command of King Durgrim Ironhammer, they prepared their defenses, bolstering the gates and setting traps throughout the tunnels. But the Skaven were relentless, pouring forth from hidden passages and overwhelming the Dwarfs with sheer numbers.
Wave after wave of Skaven crashed against the walls of Kazar Karak, their foul weapons clashing with the sturdy shields of the Dwarfs. The tunnels echoed with the sounds of battle, the air thick with the stench of blood and fur.
Despite the Dwarfs' resilience, the Skaven seemed unstoppable. War machines belched forth warpfire, tearing through the stout defenses of Kazar Karak. Rat ogres, towering monstrosities bred for war, smashed through the ranks of the Dwarfs with impunity.
As the days stretched into weeks, hope began to wane within the halls of Kazar Karak. The Dwarfs fought on with grim determination, but it seemed that their doom was inevitable. King Durgrim himself took up his ancestral axe and fought at the forefront of his warriors, but even his bravery could not stem the tide of ratmen.
Then, just when all seemed lost, a traitor within the ranks of the Dwarfs revealed himself. A disgraced engineer, driven mad by the whispers of the Skaven, sabotaged the defenses of Kazar Karak, opening the gates to the besieging horde.
With the gates breached, the Skaven poured into the heart of Kazar Karak, their numbers overwhelming the defenders. King Durgrim fought valiantly, cutting down scores of ratmen before he was finally overwhelmed by their sheer numbers.
In the end, Kazar Karak fell to the Skaven horde. The halls once filled with the sounds of Dwarven industry and song now echoed with the chittering of ratmen. Warlord Gnashclaw claimed the ancient stronghold as his own, and the Dwarfs were driven from their ancestral home, forced to flee into the mountains.
And so, the Siege of Kazar Karak became a dark chapter in the history of the Dwarfs, a testament to the relentless ambition of the Skaven and the fragility of even the mightiest fortress.
