The Sims Legacy Collection (Steam)
4I had been wanting to play the original The Sims game for a while now, and well, surprise surprise, EA re-released it (and the second one) some weeks ago. This video was recorded on release day, without any patches.
In this video, I show the tutorial, a quick attempt at building a home, and then I create a new sim to play the game normally.
You may notice the weird fact that the pre-made people in my game have different names from the usual... That's because I have steam set to Spanish, and without realizing the game was automatically set to Spanish, so all the premade people got created with their Spanish names while I troubleshooted how to record the game.
Also for some reason all the stray pets have the same name of "Luna", but maybe that's... Normal?
The game is way harder than I remembered. In particular your sim can very easily burn down their house if you don't give them a few points in cooking, and also they have to go to work EVERY DAY, I didn't remember there's no weekdays in this one!
However, it's not impossible to find a schedule that works, and while it's difficult to find time to socialize with other sims with the expansions packs you can simply go on vacation or visit a community lot to make time for that (they don't need to go to work while you're away from home).
I also want to get The Sims 2 Legacy Collection, but from what I've heard that one is very unstable at the moment, so I'll wait a bit before purchasing it.
As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
