This film sounds like it was immensely challenging to make, but also like it was a rewarding process! Starting as a dream that creator James Cameron had as a teenager, this story took several decades to come to the screen. While you might have been holding your breath waiting for the sequel, you probably weren’t holding it as long as these actors! Avatar 2 had some very unusual challenges in production, one of which included shooting so much of the film underwater. Production also had to wait as long as several years for a few other things to be just right. The Struggles Behind Avatar 2 are many, and filled with some fascinating stories!
