The Surge is Deck 13's interesting follow up to Lords of the Fallen
9In January, Dan flew out to Paris to play Focus Home Interactive's slate of 2017 games. Among them was The Surge, an Action-RPG from Deck 13 Interactive (the people who made Lords of the Fallen), and this appears to be another game in the same vein, with some twists.
Dan may not be a huge fan of the genre, but we got his impressions anyway.
