The Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance Complete Commentary - Part 1 Dawn of Rants
140I played the campaign in Terminator Dark Fate Defiance Retribution Reloaded Reckoning (and so on) and now it's time to tell you everything I care to say about it. This turns out to be a lot, and it'll be split between a whole bunch of parts. Let's head on this adventure through the not-especially-dark future war between humans with a lack of creativity and machines that just can't seem to catch a break.
This RTS-like game features full persistence between missions down to the individual bullets fired, meaning every mistake is amplified for the rest of the game. Surely that won't drive OffyD immediately insane? Surely?
In this first part I'll be talking about various mechanics, giving an overview of my thoughts on the game in general, and getting to the end of the first proper mission. If you can survive the oncoming series of rants, you can survive the AI uprising for sure, so stay strong, soldier.
