Hello neighbor 2 alpha 2
Sometime in 2020 hello neighbor 2, alpha 2, was first shown. It was supposed to be the full game at the time, or at least the art style was, but anyway the teaser was titled Nog Simming and showed the neighbor’s house with the police arriving. Then later we got the AI trailer giving us the first gray manor footage (there may have been another video before this one with Gray Manor footage,so sorry if I’m wrong) and with that we also got our first look at the map (or parts of it). But the biggest thing in this trailer was the AI or neural network. It showed that the neural network could learn from the community and even go around town. We even sow some pretty cool idle stuff that the characters would do, But in the end, we got NO neural network, No gray manor, and many locations were scrapped. As well as the the whole map being remade. But why did this happen? Who made these decisions? Let’s learn The Truth.
It all started when the original creator, Nikita, left tiny build because he didn’t like how hello neighbor 2 was turning out. In his opinion, he thought it was bad and didn’t seem like a real hello neighbor game. This was partly because, at the time, a man named Alexus what is the lead game dev of hello neighbor 2. For some reason, Alexus just decided to leave the game un-polished and Nikita didn’t like that so he decided to leave Tiny Build. So the CEO of tiny build Alex, got mad at Alexus since he was promoting fake things and most of the stuff they were showing wasn’t complete done, and he was just leaving the game unpolished and buggy. So eventually Alexus was just kicked off the production team and they took it back to square one and that’s why hello neighbor 2 looks so different and a lot of the stuff is changed. Now some cut scenes in locations were used in the beta, but most of the stuff was eventually either retextured and remodeled or just scraped completely.


And there you have it that’s what happen two A2 eventually, they just decided to restart and scrapped everything. I don’t get me wrong the new game that we have is great but a lot of people miss the old look, but at least now we fully know or at least we think we know what happened alpha 2.
