The Ultimate Fighting Game You Probably Didn't Know of Until Now
19I wanted to try out this 'essay' style of content, and why not do it on a game I hold dearly to my heart! My goal for this video was 15 minutes, but it quickly dawned on me just how much info I wish I could've added without going into full Iceburg territory.
Growing up with fighting games, as well as the resurgence of fighting games through the upcoming releases of Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 made me reflect on what I valued in fighting games to consider them 'good, enjoyable, ultimate, etc.' Today, follow me on a journey as I discuss the ultimate fighting game: Jump Ultimate Stars. A simple fighting game that embraces its simplicty while offering something unforgettable.
The video will be way easier to digest if you have a good grasp of the fundamentals found in fighting games(E.g. Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear, Dragonball Z Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter, Super Smash Bros...The list goes on and on), but I still hope this video can be accomodating to those who do not.

Jump Ultimate Stars is a fighting video game developed by Ganbarion and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS.It is the sequel to Jump Super Stars. The game was released in Japan on November 23, 2006.
The game keeps many features from its predecessor, and adds many more. The game boasts 305 characters (56 of which are fully playable) from 41 different Shōnen manga series(Including Dragonball, Bleach, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Ultimate Muscle, Death Note, Saint Seiya, Hokuto no Ken, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter X Hunter, and many more!).
