Cursed to Golf mixes Roguelike, Dungeon Crawler, and a Golf game. There is also a Deckbuilding aspect to this game too. The cards take some time to get used to. It feels, unlike any other golf game I have ever played, but in a great way. This game is not easy, and it takes time to learn what to do.

The game is easyish until you get into a curse dungeon that rotates curses, and then you need to do a set number of shots before the curse goes away. Curse dungeons are worth doing, though. The boss was also not easy. You can not make too many mistakes in the boss fight, or you will lose. It is vital to master the spin move. You can go to the firing range if you want to test ace cards or practice hitting the ball. You can get there by going to the right at Etern-Tee. The firing range can be used during a round if you go to the shop in the first area. I recommend buying everything you can from the shop when there too.

When in a course, watch out for obstacles and hazards; some can be a pain in the rear. Also, keep an eye on your par count; if you get to 1, you must use an ace card or try to get a statue. It is not always worth going for the statue. Do not trust that you will hit a statue even if it is red; if it is too far up, it could say you will hit it, but you do not. I lose a round because of this. It is sometimes better to skip them. It is also important to pick the right club for what you want to do. I recommend planning out your shots at the start of the course. Zooming out on the map helps the most.

Overall, this game is super enjoyable and challenging. It makes you think, and the puns are great.

Cursed to Golf is a challenging golf-like adventure where every shot counts. Players are tasked with making it out of Golf Purgatory to become a Golfing Legend. With insane hazards, otherworldly power-ups and tons of replayability, will you make it back alive or will you forever be… Cursed to Golf!?
