CD Projekt RED is pleased to announce the release of a new video developer diary in which senior team members talk about two elements that are of tremendous interest to RPG fans. The character development system has three main branches, swordsmanship, magic and alchemy. It isn't possible to master them all, so players will have to make meaningful choices to specialize or diversify.

The equipment system has been significantly expanded and improved. The hero, Geralt of Rivia, will be able to fight not just with his trusty steel and silver swords, but also with hammers, axes, halberds... even oars and pails. In addition, if he acquires the appropriate instructions and components, he can pay craftsmen to produce a wide range of weapons, armors, upgrades, traps and more.
