You're annoyed now. But this is the serious bit.

Mike Jittlov's film The Wizard of Speed and Time is one of my favorite movies ever. It's the best film about filmmaking I have ever seen, it's got amazing special effects that blow even the most expensive and top notch Oscar-Winning CGI nonsense out of the water. I've said before that I hate CG, and I do love me some stop motion, and this film is bursting at the seams with it. It's absolutely crazy awesome impressive how Jittlov was able to make this the way he did. Shame about the aftermath though. He got screwed by his producers and the film has never been released on home video outside of some VHS releases in the 80s. It sucks. But at least it's on YouTube. Not the same, though. Maybe someday Shout Factory or Mill Creek or Anchor Bay will pick it up. Wouldn't that be a dream come true. Maybe the Wizard in a Robe of Green will help me find that dream. One can only dream.
