The 1982 Formula One season was the craziest in the sport's history. No F1 season packed so much on and off track action in the span of 16 races. From the tragedies of Gilles Villeneuve, Riccardo Paletti, the career ending crash of Didier Pironi, and a title battle that saw multiple drivers rise and then fall off, 1982 will always be remembered as the championship no one wanted to win. Keke Rosberg, Niki Lauda, John Watson, Alain Prost, Rene Arnoux, Nelson Piquet, Riccardo Patrese amongst others, all fought it out for glory.
