3Let's Play - These Doomed Isles - Gameplay
In this video, you will see me play These Doomed Isles (prealpha version). Sam (from Fireshine Games) popped in to give us a few tips during the stream. Thanks Sam! This game is a city builder with some game mechanics similar to Kings Reborn. You acquire cards to use to build things in your city. With Land and Tree cards helping you shape the island and connect to other islands. This mechanic has some Tetris like element to it. Protect your shrine! Monsters do attack you in waves so it has similar elements in other games that have monsters raiding you periodically such as Rimworld, Farthest Frontier, They Are Billions, Diplomacy is Not an Option, etc.
This game is published by Fireshine Games (publisher for Core Keeper) and developed by Triplevision Games Limited. You can check out the game demo for yourself.
(The game did crash and bug out near the end of the stream so expect some bugs during prealpha)
