Thinking with Time Machine: Episode 3: An Abrupt Ending (FINALE)
There are several things to say about the last third of this mod...firstly, the puzzles are uninspired and don't take full advantage of the time machine mechanic. Secondly, the ending comes very abruptly and doesn't make any sense at all - why did we go back in time and end up with GLaDOS again?
Of the two Portal 2 mods that involve time travel, Portal Reloaded is much better than this one. Thinking with Time Machine had potential, but it is littered with glitches and bad texturing, is too short, and doesn't use its core mechanic to its full potential. The recording mechanic in The Talos Principle is comparable to this one - despite only being able to play them back once, Talos's recordings are way less buggy and is the superior mechanic of the two, in my opinion.
Deep within the facilities at Aperture Science lies a secret research laboratory that was locked and closed off... until it was found by robots.
Thinking with Time Machine is a Portal 2 mod in which you will find and use a Time Machine to create a twin of yourself from the past to help you solve the puzzles. The past self accurately repeats all of the player's actions, creating a unique twist on familiar Portal game mechanics.
