This Chuck E Cheese is one of the last 5 with Animatronics! Springfield, IL 2024
44Chuck E Cheese over the past few years has been in the process of removing it's animatronics and replacing them with dance floors and trampolines.
After Chuck E Cheese announced that it was going to remove all of it's animatronics except for at one location there was an outcry from the Chuck E Cheese fan base!
Chuck E Cheese then decided to have 5 retro nostalgia locations that will keep their animatronics.
Today I visit one of those 5 locations in Springfield, IL. Springfield is the only CU-1 stage that remains at Chuck E Cheese. This is a stage that saw consolidation of the the original Munch's Make Believe Band from 3 stages to 1 stage.
These bots used to be Rock-afire Explosion band members.
I visited this location based on my fandom of the Rock-afire Explosion and to see what these bots were like in person. I also visited to get an idea of what the potential is for #newwavetoys to make 1/6th scale animatronics out of the band.
