The Legend of Zelda Franchise has introduced a number of different races that have only appeared once in the series such as the Kokiri, Twili, and the Minish. But there is one race that has a greater chance than most to appear once again in Breath of the Wild 2 for a number of reasons such as: introducing a visually distinct new race, the chance to implement fun and interesting new gameplay mechanics, and a unique way to build upon the already established world of Hyrule. Additionally, with the release of the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake drawing closer and closer I wanted to look at how reintroducing this forgotten race to the Zelda universe in the sequel to Breath of the Wild could begin pointing towards where the series will be headed to after these next installments.
