Nvidia’s new RTX 3080 Ti was just used in a number of popular mining algorithms and to everyone’s surprise it has limited mining performance in more than just Eth. This in combination with the lower profitability and EIP 1559 set to debut soon could mean that mining is on its way out. Additionally AMD may be releasing an even faster version of the Radeon RX 6900 XTX.
