Thomas & Friends New Engine Slideshow Part 72
0Here we have another New Engine episode. Nothing really to say except to discuss the changes I've made to some of the returning engines who were in Felix Cheng's New Engine Slideshow series.
I have improved on the colors for some of the engines such as correcting an incorrect color. For instance, I had recolored characters such as Anju and Kafei to make them better match with the characters they were based upon. Felix Cheng made both of them blue, which was not bad, but I thought they'd look better if they were dark red and purple & white respectively. I also revamped engines such as the Dark Engine and the Jumpy Engine and removed any animal references that they originally had. Another example is that there were originally two characters name Kangaroo, one that was a brown tank engine, and the other that was a lavender tender engine, but they were meant to be one single engine. So I merged them into a single character, as the lavender tender engine. But that was in the last episode. To cover up the extra number, I had given Maggie a number. She originally didn't have a number and she was originally black instead of red. I also decided to give her the number 254, which Jingaling originally had, while Jingaling is now number 253, which was the second Kangaroo's number originally. I also changed Theo (No relation to the character who debuted in Journey Beyond Sodor as this was LOOOONG before said character even existed) from a red tank engine with glasses to a dark green tank engine with no glasses. I have no idea why Felix made him into a red tank engine because I don't remember requesting Felix to make him into such, but it's possible I didn't specify the color. Also, Andy was originally a one-armed engine with his arm on top of his boiler similar to Diesel 10's claw. I decided to change it to him being an engine who was missing a buffer instead since he was based on a character who lost an arm. Most importantly was the gender of Wiseman. This character was suppose to be female, and I am pretty sure I told Felix this when requesting the character, but for one reason or another, he incorrectly made the character male instead. But I have corrected this error.
Disclaimer, do NOT point out if a character's name in this episode has already been used for a character because those kinds of comments are just annoying (Toy Train town didn't read the description before commenting)! Besides, we do have characters with shared names (Example, we have two Oliver's). Also, do not request me to include any PBS characters. I am just bringing back what Felix Cheng had done.
