I give my thoughts on the ending of Desmond's story. Just found out that SPOILERS at the end of Liberations, the name Eve is mentioned. Of course that is referring to Adam and Eve. Also in Brotherhood, Subject 16 says "Find Eve in Eden." Which means imo, that in the future AC games, the 2012 hero will be a female. The descendant of Eve. Which makes sense via Adam and Eve. Adam being Desmond, who saved the world from the sun. And Eve being the mysterious female, saving the world from Juno.
