Most great pens are sold in a number varieties so if you like a pen it makes sense to look for variations on it. Here are three of my favorite upgrade versions of pens: the Pilot Hi-Tecpoint (upgrade on the Pilot Precise), Fisher Space Pen B4 (upgrade on the CH4), and the Rotring Newton Lava (an upgrade, of sorts, on the Rotring 600).
