To get it working I had to:
Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-15
Steam Launch options of Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime: install 58dec5a58e8f4ce6beca223311f65b4c

If you have already tried launching the game and the above doesn't work, verify the game files as that will force a reinstall for EAC as well.
