How this works: If you go unseen a few seconds after a kill, being seen near a dead body will not count as a witness. This is why I waited behind the door before leaving. If this happens, guards can get hostile from seeing you near the body without affecting rating. Aggro and chasing for trespassing take priority over the bodies being counted as found. Gunfire also confuses the shit out the rest of the NPCs. The first shot fired by guards was on the on stairs for being in a restricted area. Although Pappy's guards were already hostile.
