It's what you could call a "sim-lite" flight sim game with retro inspired aesthetic. Graphics are stylized on classic mid '90s flight sims such as A-10 Cuba! Hornet 3.0 or Flanker.
Gameplay modes right now consist of Arena Mode which is quite a novelty in a flight sim genre (you had one in Over-G Fighters but it was quite different), as well as Strike Mode which is basically a Quick Mission Builder.
I was a bit sceptic at first about the Arena Mode which reminded me a bit of a Battlefield match, but after playing it a few times I have to admit it's really fun. And it will surely get even better over time when it will be more fleshed out. I already nagged Why for take-offs and landings in this mode for rearming which he most likely had it in his plans anyway.
Game is designed to be very accesible - you can fly with keyboard/mouse, gamepads, simple joysticks or even proper HOTAS setup with Track IR which is what I'm using here.
