sorry about the captions moving fast i had to find a way to fit it in the videos so i'll explaing it here again -

1 - Method
You need ONE bottle and a Telescope
when you go to your grandmother and able to get the Elixir from her talk to her and she will set it to one bottle so you set the Eixlir to Y and press START + Y then press Start + Y again and then set the telescope to Y right when you see the Telescope to hit the Y botton you press Start + Y and it will show an animation of Link drinking the soup but when you go to your item menu it shows you didnt drink any at all.

2 - Method (I perfer this one better)
You need Two bottles and this time no telescope so what you do now is set the Eilxir to Y and press Start + Y then press Start + Y again and then set the empty bottle to Y right when you see it about to land on Y you then press Start + Y and it will should like drinking the Elixir soup but when you got to item menu it will now show one bottle full of soup and the other half way so now you have two bottles of Elixir soup
