TMNT Season 4 Finale Review - Owari

After the intensity of last week’s episode, Season 4 of TMNT comes to a close with an epic finale. The Turtles, Casey and April trek to Shredder’s mansion in the hopes of defeating the Super Shredder once and for all.
This isn’t a quick episode review. It’s a full fledged episode review and I go the deep end. I love the episode a lot and it was a great end to a great season. The action were the best part, seeing the Turtles and the others at their best to bring the fight to Super Shredder. Of course how it ended was insane and yet also optimistic. Why? Because the Shredder finally gets his comeuppance and the Turtles now have their heads held high for what’s yet to come.
In addition to my thoughts on this episode, I provide my thoughts on the overall season. I mostly consider Season 4 as two separate arcs. One arc involves saving the Earth from the Triceratons and finding a way to stop them with the second arc focusing on the Turtles and their battles against the Shredder, culminating in a final battle. I loved the season overall and I hope that Season 5 can be even better.
Speaking of which, I discuss about what to come for Season 5 as well as the new big bad, Kavaxas. We don’t know much about him but I do mention about the first four episodes of the new season. Sadly it’s going to be 20 episodes rather than the usual 26. I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling. In any case, I only hope that Season 5 can be just as good.
To top it off, I provide my Top 5 episodes of TMNT Season 4. It wasn’t easy because almost all the episodes were pretty good so if you could figure it out, it’s obvious. If you have your own list, share it.
