TobyRich TR1 FPV Goggles REVIEW - best budget option ever?
5At 49 bucks U.S. this thing is tempting for sure, but should you pony up the other $30 or so for the Eachine EV800D headset, or is this just good enough to be true? I'll go through comparing the TR 1 googles and the tried and true go-to beginner set that is the EV800 D in this video. To be clear, I have not owned the Eachine version, but I did hours and hours of research before picking my setup. This is JUST MY OPPINION based on what I have experienced. These were my first headset to own for flying FPV, but not the first that I have tried. I weighed all the options available in the sub $100 market, including hunting around for some used FatSharks on facebook, ebay, that kind of thing. In the end I had it narrowed down to these, the ev800d. Obviously I went with these. I think (at least for now) that I will prefer box goggles for the extra wide FOV / immersive feel. Anywho, I'm getting into stuff that's really probably a discussion for another video lol.
