Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a stealth game developed by Ubisoft and released of the Xbox in March 2005.
Chaos Theory is the third game in the Splinter Cell series. Chaos Theory follows Sam Fisher, an NSA agent working for "Third Echelon".
(Story) In 2007, tensions are high between China, North Korea, South Korea & Japan, due to Japan's formation of (I-SDF). Considering this to be a violation of Article 9 of the post-World War II Constitution, and blaming the I-SDF for information warfare attacks against their countries, China & North Korean forces establish a blockade in the Yellow Sea against Japanese shipping. Because Japan is an ally of the US, U.S. Navy dispatches the new highly advanced warship, the USS Clarence E. Walsh to the Yellow Sea with the hopes that North Korea will back down with it's presence.
