Tom Tries a TG16 Game Part 2 : Air Zonk
1Another Tuesday another Turbografx 16 game Air Zonk is not a sequel to Bonk's Adventure but a reimagining it takes place in the future instead of the past. Bonk's Adventure was a platformer however this game is a space shooter like Gradius or Lifeforce. Zonk is from the same family as Bonk. Zonk however can shoot and fly and is part robot. Zonk has to deal with an ancestor of King Drool Sandrovitch who wants to take over the world with an army of cyborgs. Zonk must fly his way through 5 levels and shoot everything he sees. There are bosses at the end of each stage. The final stage however is the most annoying as you must take down all of the previous bosses before you can fight the final boss. However if you lose all of your lives you will have to fight all of the bosses again. I beat this game but I used save states didn't have the patience for it.
