These are the riffs that were deemed impossible to me when I was growing up learning and wanting to play all of this awesome fast heavy stuff. I think I bought the tab book after playing guitar for about a year and it just blew my mind how technical it was. With the uprise of death metal and its growing appeal to a lot of metalheads back in the 90's, I feel that those influences rubbed off on Slayer at that time, which lead to the push in technicality found on Divine Intervention. It's still my favorite Slayer album, period. For the overwhelming majority, you guys can have your Reign In Blood. I'll take this one all day every day over it. With that said here are my top 5 hardest Slayer riffs from Divine Intervention, and possibly Slayer's entire discography. These riffs really put up a fight back then, and still do to this day for me.
