In this video we present our top 5 race mods in Starbound, some of the best Starbound mods ready to download from the Steam workshop.

These Starbound race mods include the ability to play as a snake, rabbit and more. Some of the mods simply change what you look like, others have a full set of custom armour and weapons, or buffs unique to that race!

All these mods were available on 12 November 2016, and can be subscribed to via the Steam workshop links or downloaded from the forum links below. To be able to select the race from the character selection screen, you also need to install a race extender mod - one is suggested below.

Note: As with all mods, these change the vanilla game and may have unintended side-effects, crashes etc. Install at your own risk!
