A True Classic Survival Horror with some Improved Mechanics that the Original Classic Games Did Not Have Like =
Fixed Camera also Moves with you on certain parts.
Option to use Tank Controls or Not ( Joystick for Normal Movement ).
Item and Puzzle Interaction Improvements ( Actually Interact Manually when you Examine Items and Puzzles ).
Auto Aim with Weapons when Facing the Right Direction ( Have To Hold Aim of Course LoL ).
Map Marks Points of Interest like Locked Doors, Completed Rooms, ? Points of Interest ect.

MY ONLY CONCERN With Tormented Souls 2 is the Very Limited Number of SAVE Reels you can Use ( Granted Original Resident Evil Games had the Ink Ribbons BUT that was back then and Times have Changed )..
Make it so you have a LOT MORE Save Reels or make them Infinite because some players will get Frustrated if they have to go Hours without Saving then Die Only to Redo all that over again..
Yes Easy Mode has Autosave every time you enter a Room and 3 Save Reels given to you in every Save Room which is Good BUT for those that Don't Want to Play on Easy Mode, They Only Get 2 Save Reels from each Save Room and NO Autosave..
The Save Mechanic could Make or Break a Game like this due to Limited Saves, If They Be a Bit More Generous with the Save Reels They Will Get or Hold a Larger Audience and Sales..
Granted i understand the Limited Saves is Part of the Survival aspect just like the Games of Old, BUT in this Day and Age Plus the Players that might Not have Hours of Playtime Available in One Sitting, This Limited Mechanic could make it so the Playerbase is also Limited ( Which i Don't Want because i Want the Game to Succeed because its Amazing )..

The Visuals and Atmosphere in this Game is Great so is the Deliberate Camera Angles and Moving Focal Points to Give More Suspense ( Granted Cutscene Graphics is a Little Rough around the Edges )..
The Enemies are Interesting and Some of them Feel Similar to Dead Space Enemies along with Balance Attacks, Also some Great Enemy Placements for Scares or Panic..
The Inventory System and Space is Absolutely Amazing and Plentiful, Not Like the Limited Inventory of Old Games..
Combat is Also Good especially for this Style of Game ( Granted its Not for Everyone )..
An Interesting Darkness Mechanic ( It Hurts and Effects You, Forcing You To Use a Lighter, But You Can't Have a Weapon and Lighter Out at the Same Time Making You Think When is Best to Fight or Run to a More Lit Up Area )..
Dark Areas do have Light Switches and Sometimes Candle Holders You Can Light..
Weapons Can Be Upgraded and Improved when you find the Parts..
You Can Also Use Your Equipped Items to Solve Puzzles or Advance with Locks ( Hammer on a Padlock or Lighter to Ignite Stuff ect )..
Game Also has the Traditional Keys for Certain Doors, Hidden Items inside of Items, Items which have Puzzles or Mechanics to them to get what you Want ect..
Littered Around are Breakable Objects as Well which May Contain Nuts "cough" Ammo or Other Items..
Healing Items seem Plentiful with a Variety of Different Types ranging from Big First Aid Packs to Minor Injury Bandages ect..
Like Typical Classic Survival Horror Games Tormented Souls 2 has a Mix of Cutscenes for Story while also having Notes and Books Scattered around to Read for Back Story and Lore along with Items of Interest to give a General Feel or Vibe of the Situation..
If You Have Played or Enjoyed Classic Survival Horror Games Like Resident Evil or Silent Hill Then i Highly Recommend This Game = Tormented Souls 2..
I Myself Never Played the First Game - Tormented Souls BUT From What i Have Seen this Seems to be a Marked Improvement from the First Game..
Both Games were Clearly Made with a LOT of Love and PASSION and it Shows, And i Hope They Continue to Make Great Works of Art and Survival Horror Masterpieces like this Game..

My Opinion Its an 8/10 would be a 9 If it had More Save Reels..
